The purpose of the film

Raise awareness of the broad threat picture from foreign powers against Swedish universities and Swedish research by briefly highlighting the areas below. The film also gives a picture of what security protection means for universities and researchers:

• Which research/activities the foreign power is interested in.

• The consequences for Sweden (Sweden's security) of foreign powers' intelligence gathering against Swedish universities and research.

• How a foreign power works to get over knowledge and technology, e.g. through recruitment (who is recruited and how?)

By watching the film, we hope that you as a researcher or employee, with your research projects and/or collaborations as a starting point, will begin to think about:

• Can my research or activity be of interest to a foreign power? If so, in what way?

• What could be the consequences if my research were to fall into the wrong hands?

• How should what I judge to be worth protecting in my research and
